Privacy Policy
Effective September 26, 2026. Last revised September 26, 2026.
1. Who we are and what this policy covers
Forecastable, Inc. (“Forecastable,” “we,” “us”) provides a partner co-sell platform and related consulting services. This policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect Personal Data through our websites, our marketing and events, our cloud services, and connections between Forecastable and AI assistants.
“Personal Data” means information that identifies, relates to, or can reasonably be linked to an individual.
Controller and processor. We are the controller of the Personal Data described in this policy. When our customers use our cloud services, they upload or connect data about their accounts, opportunities, partners and contacts (“Customer Data”). We process Customer Data as a processor or service provider on our customer’s instructions, under our agreement with that customer. This policy does not govern Customer Data, except that Section 5 explains how AI assistant connections handle it. If your information is in a customer’s Forecastable workspace, please contact that customer about it.
2. Personal Data we collect
Information you give us
- Contact and account details when you request information, book a call, register for an event or webinar, download content, or create an account: name, title, company, email, phone, address, and login credentials.
- Billing details when you purchase: billing name and address. Card and bank details are collected and stored by our payment processor, not by us.
- Events and office visits: badge scan details (name, title, company, country, email, phone) and visitor registration details.
- Community and surveys: username, photo, profile details, and anything you choose to submit.
Information we collect automatically
- Website and email activity: IP address, device and browser details, pages viewed, referring site, date and time stamps, and whether you opened or clicked our emails.
- Service logs: when you use our cloud services, we log IP address, device and application identifiers, actions taken, and date and time stamps.
Information from other sources
We obtain business contact information from third-party data providers and public sources, including name, job title, company, business email and phone, LinkedIn URL, and intent data. We may combine it with information you give us to keep our records current, identify potential customers, and tailor marketing.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies, pixels, web beacons and local storage on our websites and in our emails.
- Required cookies keep the site working, keep you signed in, and protect against fraud. These cannot be switched off.
- Functional and analytics cookies show us how the site is used. We use Google Analytics with Google’s restricted data processing settings enabled. See how Google uses data.
- Advertising cookies let us and our advertising partners show you ads for Forecastable on other sites and measure them. These partners may collect information about your activity across sites and devices.
You can change your choices at any time with the cookie settings button at the bottom left of every page, or through your browser settings. You can also opt out of interest-based ads through the Network Advertising Initiative and Digital Advertising Alliance. We honor Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out of advertising cookies where required by law. We do not otherwise respond to Do Not Track signals.
4. How we use Personal Data
We use Personal Data to:
- Provide, operate and support our websites and services, and perform our contract with you or your organization.
- Respond to requests and provide customer support.
- Process payments.
- Secure our services, verify accounts, investigate suspicious activity, and enforce our terms.
- Understand usage and improve our websites and services.
- Send marketing about our products, events and partners, and show relevant ads.
- Plan and run events and webinars, and register office visitors.
- Comply with law and protect our rights and the rights of others.
Where EU or UK law applies, our legal bases are performance of a contract (items 1 to 3), our legitimate interests in running, securing, improving and marketing our business (items 4 to 7), legal obligation (item 8), and your consent where the law requires it, for example for advertising cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time.
5. AI assistants and connected apps
How it works. You can connect Forecastable to AI assistants you already use, such as ChatGPT, Claude and Microsoft 365 Copilot. To connect, you sign in to Forecastable and approve what the assistant may access. The assistant then sends requests to Forecastable on your behalf. Depending on the permissions you approved and your role in Forecastable, it can read data from your organization’s workspace, such as accounts, opportunities, partner plans, tasks and meeting summaries, and it can create or update records when you ask it to.
What we receive. We receive only the information the assistant includes in each request, such as a search term, a record name, or the text of a task or draft you asked for, along with the identity of your signed-in user and technical details like time stamps. We do not request or access your assistant’s chat history, memory, conversation summaries, or files you uploaded to the assistant.
How we use it. We use this information to answer the request, to keep the service secure and prevent abuse, to troubleshoot, and to measure usage in aggregate so we can improve Forecastable. We do not use the content of AI assistant requests to train AI models, and we do not sell it or use it for advertising. Workspace data returned to the assistant remains Customer Data governed by our agreement with your organization.
What the assistant provider receives. Data we return becomes part of your conversation and is processed by the assistant provider under its own terms and privacy policy, which we do not control. See the privacy policies of OpenAI, Anthropic and Microsoft.
No sending on your behalf. Our AI assistant tools do not send email or messages to anyone. Drafts are returned to you to review and send.
What not to share. Do not share passwords, payment card numbers, government ID numbers or health information through an assistant connection. Forecastable does not need them and will not ask for them.
Revoking access. You can disconnect Forecastable from your assistant at any time in the assistant’s settings. Your organization’s Forecastable administrator can revoke connected apps in Forecastable, and your IT administrator may be able to block or remove the connection in the assistant’s admin controls.
Google user data. If you connect Gmail or Google Calendar, Forecastable reads the email and calendar data needed to show account activity, meetings and meeting summaries in your workspace. We use it only to provide those features to you. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or use it to develop, improve or train generalized AI or machine learning models. People at Forecastable do not read it unless you ask us to for support, it is needed for security, or the law requires it. Forecastable’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
6. How we share Personal Data
We share Personal Data with:
- Service providers that host our services, process payments, provide analytics, marketing and support tools, and help us run our business, under contracts that limit their use of the data. Our current subprocessors are listed in our Trust Center.
- Your organization. If you use our services through your employer or another customer, we may share your usage and account information with that customer.
- Event and content sponsors, when you register for a co-sponsored event or download co-sponsored content, as disclosed at registration.
- Advertising and social media platforms, so we can advertise Forecastable on other sites. In some states this counts as “sharing” for targeted advertising; see Section 9.
- Professional advisers such as lawyers, auditors and insurers.
- A successor in a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
- Authorities, when required by law or to protect our rights, users or others.
We may also share aggregated or de-identified information that does not identify you.
We do not sell Personal Data for money.
7. International transfers
We are based in the United States and store data in the United States. When we transfer Personal Data from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or on an adequacy decision where one applies. We require our subprocessors to provide equivalent safeguards. You can request a copy of the relevant safeguards by contacting us.
8. How long we keep Personal Data
We keep Personal Data only as long as needed for the purpose we collected it, then delete or de-identify it. Typical periods:
- Customer Data in your organization’s workspace: length of the customer relationship, then deleted within 30 days after it ends.
- Account and subscription data: length of the customer relationship, then deleted within 30 days after it ends, unless law requires longer.
- AI assistant request logs: 30 days.
- Security and service logs: 12 months.
- Billing records: 7 years, for tax and accounting.
- Marketing contacts: until you opt out, or after 24 months with no engagement.
A customer may ask us to delete Customer Data sooner, and our agreement with the customer controls if it sets a different period.
9. Your rights and choices
Everyone. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails with the link in any email. We will still send service and billing messages. You can manage cookies as described in Section 3.
EEA, UK and Switzerland. You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your Personal Data, object to our processing, and withdraw consent. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. We respond within one month.
California and other US states. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what Personal Data we collect and how we use and disclose it; to access, correct or delete it; and to opt out of targeted advertising or “sharing.” To opt out of targeted advertising, use the cookie settings button or enable Global Privacy Control. We will verify your identity before acting on a request, and you can use an authorized agent. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision.
To make a request, email privacy@forecastable.com.
10. Security
We maintain a SOC 2 Type II compliance program, independently audited, with controls that include encryption in transit and at rest, multi-factor authentication, quarterly access reviews, continuous monitoring, and vendor oversight. Details and our current report are available at our Trust Center. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information you send us.
11. Children
Our services are for business users. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Links to other sites
Our sites and services link to third-party sites and services, including AI assistants, that have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new revision date, and we will notify customers of material changes by email or in the service.
